Joe Horn Has Something to Say About Sean Peyton

Joe Horn apparently had something to say about Sean Peyton according to the Atlanta Journal. “What goes around, comes around,” Horn said when talking about coach Peyton’s fall from the glory of last year’s season. Horn attributes the Saints’ troubles to Peyton’s treatment of people and last week’s botched playcalling to his ego. At least Joe’s ego is still intact despite the Falcon’s 3-9 season, and the fact that Joe hasn’t scored for them this year.
The rest of the article talks about Joe being booed by the Saints fans, and the emotion of returning to a place he called home. Having been with the club during Katrina, Joe seems to have some sentiment there. I don’t blame him, we have some sentiment for you Joe.
I’ve knocked on Peyton before, and I’ve knocked on Joe Horn before. But I must say, I miss Joe Horn in the dome. If we boo you in the Georgia Dome tonight, it’s not because you never did anything great for our club in the past. That’s for sure.
