I’m really upset about the current situation with the Saints’ negotiations with the state. The Saints franchise brings a TON of money to the state of Louisiana, and Kathleen Blanco is making Tom Benson out to be a greedy millionaire who wants to suck the state dry. Is Tom Benson a greedy millionaire?

Probably So.

Does that matter? No.

The New Orleans Saints Franchise is a business, and as far as Mrs.  Blanco is concerned, it shouldn’t matter who owns them. This is a financial deal for the state - that is good for the state.

As David Tyree said, if this was Bill Gates talking about bringing a business to Louisiana, would Mrs. Blanco ask him to open up his books? Would she make references to the number of yachts he owns?
