The City of New Orleans and all Fans of the New Orleans Saints today mourn the death of Bernard “Buddy” Diliberto. “Buddy D.” passed away Friday night of a heart attack and he will truly be missed. He was 73 years old. I can remember Buddy D.’s voice doing Saints commentary for as long as I can think back into my childhood. My grandfather used to take me to the Saints games and we’d listen to Buddy D. the whole ride back. His sports commentary will be missed.
